Welcome to Shepherd's Troupe new website!  We are delighted that you are interested in our ministry.  Who are we?  We are a group of uniquely-abled individuals who know in our hearts we were born to worship!  For the last 10 years, we have been privileged to do so at various venues around Western New York.

It all began in 2001, when I felt the leading of the Lord to "teach the boys to worship."  I was overseeing a workshop for individuals with developmental disabilities and felt God's presence one evening, which led me to a local christian bookstore.  While there, I bought a CD called "Revival" by Robin Mark.  I had never heard of the artist, but it looked interesting and bought the CD.  On the way home, I listened to the song Revival and before I arrived home, I could see in my mind, what the young men could do to mime the words to the song.  Only the opening was a blank in my mind.

The next morning, while we were having a coffee break, I played the music for the men and one young man, got up and began to do sign language to the opening of the song.  I knew at that moment, these young men were born to worship.

For the next six months, we practiced 3x weekly in our little workshop and our debut was June 16, 2001 at the Tabernacle for Father's Day.  The church erupted in worship and readily accepted our new ministry.
